so my question is, is it difficult to update hackintosh?Īnonymous Fri Apr 15 19:56:49 2011 No. Okay, most people are saying hackintosh is really troublesome especially when there's a new update for the OS. Now dual booting Snow Leopard and 7 on a custom built.Īnonymous Fri Apr 15 19:55:49 2011 No. Later bought a $999 unibody plastic macbook. I installed Hackintosh when Vista came out cause vista was such god awful. Graduating college this year, so I doubt I'll need a new laptop any time soon (only time I use it is on campus or with synergy to handle email and my calendar.)Īnonymous Fri Apr 15 19:54:49 2011 No. >Graduating college this year, so I doubt I'll need a new laptop any time soon (only time I use it is on campus) or with synergy to handle email and my calendar. 17000955īut i've also used apple's hardware for a long enough period to judge itĪnonymous Fri Apr 15 19:53:49 2011 No.

I originally planned to buy a Mac Pro once I start working since I'll be making a decent amount of money, but I actually looked at the price of one and decided fuck it. Graduating college this year, so I doubt I'll need a new laptop any time soon (only time I use it is on campus) or with synergy to handle email and my calendar. The battery only lasts about two hours now, which sucks. OS X is great, Mac Pros are a rip-off, and I just want a desktop. I'm a Mac user who's on a Hackintosh now. other than that and how OS X users are apparently acclaimed to be homosexual, there's nothing else "bad" about OS X >Īnonymous Fri Apr 15 19:51:49 2011 No. the lack of software can be easily accommodated by many OS X alternatives. I can't think of anything else which is bad of OS X besides the lack of games, which is same for GNU/Linux. Let's talk about OS X here, not the hardware apple makes, because we can all clearly agree it is overpriced and sucks balls.
How many of apple haters hate OS X just because the rest of /g/ hates it (whether it is for realistic reasons or not) How many of you have actually used OS X for a decent amount of time to make a sensible and good judgement on whether it is good or bad?
